Eligibility & Admission Criteria
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate needs to submit mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination declaring him/her PASSED.
However, at the time of Registration, there MUST NOT be any Repeat-in-Theory/Compartment (which
remains un-cleared) in those subjects which are being considered for eligibility as per the table in point
number 3 above.
(ii) Pass in qualifying examination indicates passed with or without grace, with no Compartment/Repeat-inTheory in the subject being considered for admission from the table above.
(iii) Aggregate marks percentage in 12th or equivalent examination shall be worked out as suggested by the
certificate awarding Board/University/Council. If the Board / University / Council awards letter grades
without providing the equivalent percentage of marks on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a
certificate from the respective Board / University / Council specifying equivalent percentage conversion
formula and upload it with mark-sheet at the time of online registration for counseling. In the absence of
such a certificate, the decision of the Central Admission Board (CAB) regarding his/her eligibility shall
be final.
(iv) For admission to first year of MBA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, the eligibility
degree of minimum three years from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by
A.I.U is compulsory.
3.1 ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO NRI QUOTA IN FIRST YEAR
NRI candidates who possess minimum requisite qualification may get direct admission on 5% seats of total
intake in State Funded and Private Institutions of Uttar Pradesh in all courses except MBA. However,
applicants opting B.Arch. course under this category must have qualified NATA-2024. The candidates will be
informed separately about the date of counseling and number of seats under this quota. The latest orders
issued by Govt. of U.P. to the date of NRI counseling shall be applicable for admission under NRI quota.

3.2 ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO FOREIGN NATIONALS (FN)/ PERSONS OF INDIAN
ORIGIN (PIO)/ CHILDREN OF INDIAN WORKERS IN GULF COUNTRIES (CIWGC) IN
FIRST YEAR
FN/ PIO/ CIWGC seats shall be filled from Foreign Nationals/ PIO’s/ CIWGC who:

(i) Have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, which is considered
equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
(ii) Should submit a copy of passport or equivalent evidence in support of their Nationality.
